I%26#39;ve been wondering this as well. If you could use US points card you could save a bundle, because right now the points cards in Canada cost so much more than in the US.

I tried while I lived in Florida and it did not work. This makes me also believe that you can%26#39;t use Xbox Live codes either, but I%26#39;d like to confirm as I know A LOT of people order their%26#39;s off of eBay.
Honestly? I really though Canada just got US consoles.

I remember when I was dealing with Customer Service when it came to my MS Points cards, she said that my console was in the States yet my address for my profile was in Canada. I told her that I had moved, and she said that due to that I couldn%26#39;t use American points cards on my 360. She likely meant for my profile.
