While playing one of my games two days ago, a friend suggested that I should place my 360 vertically, and not horizontally which I normally have it. He, however did not have the common sense to understand that you should not move a console while it is running. So, he lifted up the console and a grinding sound came from the game. Later on after I was finished playing and being aggravated, I checked the game. It had a perfect round scratch on the surface of the game. Now comes my point. Should I, or should I not play this game anymore. I%26#39;m afraid that if I do, it may cause damage to my system or further damage to the game.Scratched Games harmful?
I would just take it back to Wal-Mart! They will replace any game (without a receipt). I have done it 5 or 6 times. Once for a game they didn%26#39;t have in stock, and they actually let me choose something else!! (Yeah, the game sucked, and I knew that it wasn%26#39;t in stock) (It was a birthday present from an aunt, and she didn%26#39;t give you the receipt. Now it doesn%26#39;t work, or it FREEZES!!!)Scratched Games harmful?
I would take the game back, Or make your friend pay for the game.
Is putting it vertically better?
Is putting it vertically better?
I have 2 friends with broken 360%26#39;s cus of the verticle way they put it. but if you don%26#39;t have the room, then I guess you could put it like that.....
mine for some reason is faster and works wonderful (it was close to dead horizontal) when ii put it vertical.
dont worry u can play it because that same **** happened to my gears disc and i was so mad cause it wouldnt work so i gotr on of those cloths that cleans glasses and carefully rubbed it as if i was actually taking the scratch offthankfully, every map worked online except for canals sometimes and story somtimes froze upbut dont worry it dont mess up ure 360______________________________________add me
If you normally have you box horizontally you need to keep it that way you cant play it vertical after playing it horizontal it has something to do with disk balance or something all i know is thats how my freind ruined his x box and microsoft told him to not change the positions in which he runs it so screw ure freind, and playing a scratched disk wont hurt ure box but it might have scratched the lense that reads disks inside...
