Cross region Crackdown Halo 3 Beta Compa ...

I%26#39;ve got a quick question about the Halo 3 beta through Crackdown, had a look around and couldn%26#39;t find anything so sorry if this has already been answered.. Will I be able to use the Halo 3 beta from a Japanese version of Crackdown on my PAL 360?? I know the actual game is compatible because it is region free but I just wondered if the beta will work? Thanks in advancefor your help!
