they%26#39;re called reference levels and the options are standard,intermediate,and expanded. Didnt know what the best one was for an hdtv
I was also wondering about this... I have no idea what it means. 
I%26#39;m using %26#39;Expanded%26#39; with my monitor. Apparently, it prevents washed out colours through using the VGA cable. Still no 1440x900 though :@

The new options are a fix to flashed out colors using VGA, in my case, the 360 hasn%26#39;t looked better!!
But see mine is hooked up through my pc input on my samsung. Would it still probably be best to go with expanded(im assuming its the best)?
