i know you didnt say a sports game but... NBA2K6 is easier than king kong. You can get those 1,000 points in just under two hours.

I forget the name of the 2 games that I played, but I got 2000 achievement points in 1 hour. you just have to tone down the difficulty and shorten the quarters (yes, they were sports games, but 2000 achievement points an hour is pretty good.....I presonally enjoy FPS, RPG, and RTS games though....
 I hear TMNT offers amazingly easy achievements, just play through the game.  Tomb Raider legend also isn%26#39;t too hard, and it%26#39;s a good game!  Kameo%26#39;s fun too, and it%26#39;ll give you about 600 points just for playing through the main quest but that%26#39;ll run you 15 or so hours.Also, i found double dragon on XBLA to be the easiest 200 points i%26#39;ve made.

2 hours? Try one 12 min quarter game...less than 1 hour easily!
king kong took me a few hours and gave 1000. it%26#39;s not that bad of a game actually, i kinda enjoyed it. 
wow this is rediculous, your going to go waste money on a game you wont even like just to get the Gamerscore? man this world has gone to h*ll
