Updating without xbox live

I dont have xbox live at the moment, so is there any other way i can download the update. I heard something about downloading the update from xbox.com and putting it on to a disc but i couldnt find it on the site.Help Updating without xbox live

Can't you guys create a silver (free) account for Xbox Live and then get the update that way? Or is it you don't have access to broadband at all where you 360 is?

Dont have access to a broadband connection at the moment, there must be some way of getting the update

I know you can download original Xbox games update from the site that you can put onto a blank disk and put it into you 360. I don%26#39;t know if it updates the dashboard, but if you are worried that it will take too long don%26#39;t worry it is only 5 minutes at the most.
