I feel really silly as I dislike these people who post on the Wii forums. I am a two console type guy. I can%26#39;t jsut live nintendo and I need another system. Last gen I had a GC and PS2, and don%26#39;t know much about Microsofts Xbox. I think gamewise I prefer the 360. DMC4, RE5, Dead Rising, GEoW, Halo, Ninja Gaiden, and a whole lot mroe coming out. And with the PS3 being so expensive and not having that many exclusives, I think a 360 would be the best choice. The concerns I am having are with all the talk in these forums about 360s breaking down. Is it really that big of a problem? Also should I get the 360 Pro, or the Elite? Should I get a 360 now?
Without a doubt, get an Elite...Should I get a 360 now?
the breakdown problem isnt as near as bad as its made out 2 b. only quite a few of the first batch went bust.the premium offers more value 4 money with deals etc but the elite is obviously newer with a mcuh larger hard drive (not a neccessity however) and cums with sum hd watsits
i just got my 360 2 months ago and i have been VERY happy with it. So far i haven%26#39;t had any problems with it exceot one incident where it scratched my GeoW disk, but that was my fault. probobly go for the elite mostly because of the hdd, i only have 4-5(if you count halo 2) and 2 game downloads and one arcade game and i only have 11.2 gb free. so yea....go for it
go for it they are by far the best console.
yea totally buy a 360!!!!i had my 360 for a year and no problems if ur worried ur 360 will break down just buy a extended warranty then ur covered and if ur thinking about buying movies from xbox market place then buy elite or if u want pure mindless next-gen gaming then buy the premium btw WHATEVER U DO DO NOT BUY THE CORE!!!!

The bugs in the 360`s have been fixed so yours shouldnt have all these problems your reading about. If you can spend the extra cash the Elite is well worth it, tons of movies, tv shows, demos, and trailers available...ya might need the extra space.
Get a Xbox 360 if you have the money, especially since you can find them so cheap now. I found one for $270.00 the other day and I was like @_@ ... I like the PS3 to but its just too expensive for me.
It%26#39;s a sound buy, especially if you like online. Xbox live may cost 50 bucks a year, but the well integrated, single friend list service is great. Achievements are fun and add alot of replay value to games, and most of the games that come out will have decent online integration which includes voice chat. It%26#39;s not the one console to rule them all, but it%26#39;s good.I say go for it, and don%26#39;t mind the breakdown stories. If it happens, and it may, you just send it off to microsoft and shortly thereafter you recieve a refurbished one. It does suck to be without your console, even for a day, but it%26#39;s not enogh of a worry to put off getting one as far as i%26#39;m concerned. As far as elite or premium, the extra space for only 80 more dollars(before taxes) isn%26#39;t bad, so if you can afford it go ahead.. but the premium is fine in its own right, i%26#39;m doing fine with it.EDIT: I was under the impression that many people on the wii forums were interested in multiple consoles. And those who are not, are not necissarily bad.

I think the choice of getting a Wii is a lot easier than whether or not to get a PS3 or 360.Thanks for the help guys.
yea get the 360.
