OK, so this is my Monitor:http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/320383Being as it has a Max resolution of 1680x1050 I would expect to get superb HD quality from this. Althought the quality is decent, it%26#39;s not really any different to SD (apart from the HUB) and in some games, it can be quite jaggy and washed out in the distance. Also, it plays a little slow. I assume this is because it%26#39;s 8ms and this isn%26#39;t necessarily superb for X360 gaming perhaps. If anyone could give me tips or pointers, I%26#39;d be grateful.I can take the Monitor back to the store and swap it, so feel free to give me a few ideas of what I could get (within reason). Thanks in advance.Monitor help please (X360)
The response time is ok. It's just that the 360 doesn't support that resolution... :PMonitor help please (X360)
The response time is ok. It%26#39;s just that the 360 doesn%26#39;t support that resolution... :P
Yeah, I know it doesn%26#39;t directly support it, but I would expect the higher resolutions that are just below it to look great.
The thing is, if the resolution is higher than yours, the pixels are scrunched together. If it's lower, they're stretched... I would help you but I don't know much about buying TV's and monitors in the UK market. I would recommend that you sell/return that monitor and maybe get a Westinghouse since they're cheap and reliable... If you're willing to spend some money though, I would highly recommend that you get a Samsung HDTV, mainly this one.
Lol. That%26#39;s a bit above my price range but thanks for the info. What do you suggest that the max resolution of a montior for the 360 should be?

It's supposed to be 1360 x 768 with the VGA cable... :P Try looking around for some good monitors or maybe even a cheap HDTV. I remember seeing some 19''/20'' Samsung HDTV that was around 300 pounds...
I had a Goodmans 19inch HD but I had the same problem with it being jaggedy. Thanks for the info anyway - I thought that the higher the resolution, but apparently not.:P
Is it possible to get a Monitor with that EXACT resolution?
Bump.

Probably, if not 1366 x 768... Search on cnet.co.uk for one. The have reviews so you can judge which one's are the best. PM me if you find one so I can help you out.
Thanks - it%26#39;s really appreciated.
