I%26#39;ve had my eye on the 360 for a while and have been convincing my parents to let me blow the cash. Right now I have permission to buy the thing, but my issue is thus; is the elite worth it? From what i know, the best thing is that for a large discount, you get a 120 GB hard drive, as opposed to the 20 GB that normally comes with the 360. Asking the people with 360%26#39;s that have 20 gigs, is your hard drive getting full? Would you say the elite is worth the extra money? I lay this question to the people of the Gamespot forum.360 Elite or Normal?
it depends on if your going to be downloading a lot of stuff.... i personally have a 360 premium but if anything should happen to it ***knocks on wood*** witch i hope it donesn%26#39;t, i would buy an elite360 Elite or Normal?
I havent tried an Elite but I am happy with my regular Xbox 360. If you want to see some reviews, CNET has a review for the Xbox 360 Elite with a score of 8.5 and regular 360 review with a score of 8.4.
Thanks to the two responders above.

if you%26#39;ve got the money, the elite is at a good price for what it has.
No matter how you look at it, 470 is a steep price. But there is always that extra 100 gigs...
Do you have a HDTV with HDMI? If you do, then the elite is probably worth it. Otherwise, you%26#39;ll probably be fine with the regular one.
well i have a regular 360... i havent downloaded a lot of stuff and i can tell u a regular is enough, but i dont know what microsoft would be releasing later this year or next year maybe for elite owners only
demos arn%26#39;t meant to be stores forever and you won%26#39;t fill it up fast unless you keep all the trailers, movies, and demos on it. If you just buy content, xbl games and delete your demos after playing then you will be fine. If you want to keep all your stuff(never delete it) and you buy tons of games and get all content, then go for the elite. The only thing that wants me to get the elite is the fact that is black. I got a ps3 to fill that next-gen void.
I got an elite for the hdmi, my tv will only take 1080p through hdmi. I never really see myself buy um renting movies for it. but if you want a 360 and are going to spend $400 you might as well get n elite.
